About DayByDeals

DayByDeals is an online marketplace operated by Day By Deals (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/601015/07, South Africa.

The marketplace enables customers to discover and purchase eligible products offered through DayByDeals and participating marketplace sellers.

Marketplace Model

DayByDeals operates as an online marketplace. Products displayed on the marketplace may be offered through DayByDeals and participating marketplace sellers.

Customers should review the product information, seller information, price, availability, delivery information and other applicable information presented in connection with an offer before placing an order.

The applicable seller should be identified from the information presented with the relevant product listing, order or transaction where applicable.

User Accounts

Certain marketplace features may require a registered account. Users are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

Users should notify DayByDeals if they reasonably believe their account has been accessed or used without authorisation.

Marketplace Sellers

Marketplace sellers must provide accurate business information and comply with applicable marketplace requirements.

Submitting a seller application does not guarantee approval. DayByDeals may review seller information before providing or continuing marketplace selling access.

Sellers remain responsible for their products, listings, pricing, stock information and applicable legal obligations.

Product Listings

Product listings should accurately describe the product being offered, including relevant information such as product identity, condition, specifications, compatibility and other material information where applicable.

Marketplace sellers must not intentionally publish false, misleading or materially incomplete product information.

DayByDeals may review, correct, restrict or remove listings where appropriate under its marketplace policies.

Publication of a listing does not itself mean that DayByDeals has independently authenticated, inspected or verified every product.

Pricing, Availability & Stock

Prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.

Prices, promotions and stock availability may change. Customers should review the price and applicable charges presented during checkout before submitting an order.

Where a material pricing, stock or listing error is identified, DayByDeals or the applicable seller may take reasonable steps to correct the information and address affected orders in accordance with applicable law and marketplace policies.

Orders

Customers are responsible for reviewing their order details before submitting an order, including products, quantities, delivery information and the total amount displayed.

Receipt of an electronic order acknowledgement does not override any rights or obligations arising under applicable law.

Orders may be affected by stock availability, payment confirmation, seller fulfilment capability, listing errors or other legitimate fulfilment circumstances.

Payments

Available payment methods are displayed during the applicable checkout process.

Payment options may include Visa, Mastercard and EFT where those methods are available at checkout.

Orders may remain pending until payment has been successfully confirmed.

Delivery

Delivery options, estimated delivery periods and applicable charges may depend on the product, seller, destination and fulfilment method.

Where available, the relevant delivery information is displayed during the shopping or checkout process.

Delivery estimates may be affected by circumstances reasonably outside the normal fulfilment or delivery process.

Returns & Refunds

Return eligibility depends on the reason for the return, product condition, applicable marketplace policy and rights available under applicable law.

Once a refund has been approved, DayByDeals will process the refund within 7 days. A bank or payment provider may require additional processing time before the funds become available.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Customers should report products that are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or materially inconsistent with the applicable product information through the appropriate DayByDeals support process.

The appropriate remedy will depend on the circumstances, applicable marketplace policies and applicable consumer law.

Order Cancellations

Customers wishing to cancel an order should contact DayByDeals as soon as possible.

Whether an order can be cancelled before fulfilment may depend on its processing and dispatch status. Once dispatched, the applicable return process may need to be followed.

Prohibited & Restricted Products

Sellers may not use DayByDeals to offer products prohibited by applicable law or DayByDeals marketplace requirements.

Certain categories may be restricted or may require additional information, documentation or approval.

The ability to create or publish a listing does not mean that DayByDeals has confirmed that a product is lawful, unrestricted or suitable for sale.

Intellectual Property

Users and sellers must respect applicable intellectual property rights.

Marketplace sellers are responsible for ensuring that they have the rights or permissions reasonably required for product information, images, trademarks and other material they submit.

Potential intellectual property concerns can be reported through our Intellectual Property Complaint process.

Privacy & Personal Information

Personal information associated with marketplace use is handled in accordance with the DayByDeals Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

Acceptable Marketplace Use

Users must not use DayByDeals to:

• engage in unlawful activity;
• publish intentionally false or misleading information;
• interfere with marketplace security or operation;
• attempt unauthorised access to another account;
• submit fraudulent transactions;
• infringe third-party rights; or
• circumvent marketplace safeguards or restrictions.

DayByDeals may take reasonable action in response to suspected misuse, including restricting marketplace access where appropriate.

Complaints & Disputes

Customers and marketplace sellers should first use the applicable DayByDeals support process when raising a marketplace complaint.

DayByDeals may request relevant information reasonably required to investigate or assist with a complaint or dispute.

Changes to These Terms

DayByDeals may update these Marketplace Terms & Conditions when reasonably necessary to reflect marketplace, operational, legal or policy changes.

The current version and its updated date will be published on this page.

Applicable Law & Consumer Rights

These terms are intended to operate subject to applicable South African law.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or replace a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
