Last updated: 21 September 2026
When to use the Speak Up Process

This process is intended for serious concerns about conduct connected with DayByDeals, its marketplace, participating sellers, personnel or business activities.

For ordinary questions about an order, delivery, return, refund or product, please use the Help Centre or Contact Us.

01

Purpose of the Speak Up Process

DayByDeals encourages concerns about suspected misconduct, unethical behaviour, fraud, serious policy breaches or unlawful activity connected with the business or marketplace to be raised responsibly.

The purpose of this process is to provide a clear route for concerns to be reported so that they can be considered and, where appropriate, reviewed or referred for further action.

02

Who Can Speak Up?

A concern may be raised by a person who has relevant information about conduct connected with DayByDeals.

This may include:

  • Customers.
  • Marketplace sellers.
  • Seller employees or representatives.
  • DayByDeals personnel.
  • Suppliers or service providers.
  • Business partners.
  • Other persons with relevant information about a concern.
03

What Can Be Reported?

The Speak Up Process may be used to report concerns such as suspected:

Fraud

Suspected fraudulent transactions, dishonest conduct or deliberate misrepresentation.

Corruption or Bribery

Suspected bribery, improper payments, kickbacks or corrupt conduct.

Marketplace Abuse

Serious manipulation, deceptive seller behaviour or misuse of marketplace systems.

04

Ordinary Customer Complaints

The Speak Up Process is not intended to replace the normal customer-support process.

Questions or complaints about an order, delivery, cancellation, return, refund, warranty or faulty product should normally be submitted through the relevant customer-support process.

05

How to Report a Concern

A Speak Up concern can be submitted to DayByDeals using the contact details published on this page.

When contacting us by email, using a clear subject such as “Speak Up Report” can help identify the nature of the communication.

Please provide enough information to allow the concern and the persons, listings, transactions or activities involved to be identified.

06

Information to Include

Where available and appropriate, a report should include:

  • A clear description of the concern.
  • Relevant dates or approximate dates.
  • Names or details of persons or businesses involved, where known.
  • Relevant order numbers, seller information, product listings or transaction references.
  • How you became aware of the concern.
  • Whether the issue is continuing.
  • Any relevant supporting information or documentation.

Do not obtain evidence unlawfully or place yourself or another person at unnecessary risk in order to make a report.

07

Supporting Evidence

Relevant supporting information may assist with reviewing a concern.

This could include, where appropriate:

  • Emails or correspondence.
  • Invoices or transaction records.
  • Product or listing information.
  • Screenshots.
  • Order references.
  • Other documentation directly relevant to the concern.

Supporting information should not be altered or deliberately presented in a misleading way.

08

Anonymous Reports

DayByDeals may consider information submitted without the reporter identifying themselves where there is sufficient information to understand the concern.

However, anonymous reporting may make it more difficult to request clarification, verify information, provide feedback or investigate certain matters.

Do not state that your identity is anonymous if your email address, documents or other information submitted with the report identifies you.

09

Confidentiality

DayByDeals will aim to handle Speak Up reports with appropriate discretion and limit access to information to persons who reasonably need it for review, investigation, response, legal compliance or related purposes.

Absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in every circumstance. Information may need to be disclosed where reasonably necessary to examine the concern, obtain advice, respond fairly to affected parties or comply with applicable law.

10

What Happens After a Report?

Depending on the nature and information available, DayByDeals may:

  • Review the information submitted.
  • Request additional information or clarification.
  • Review relevant marketplace or transaction records where appropriate.
  • Contact relevant persons or marketplace sellers where appropriate.
  • Refer the concern internally for further consideration.
  • Take marketplace or account action where justified.
  • Seek professional advice where necessary.
  • Refer matters to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

The action taken will depend on the nature, seriousness and available evidence relating to the concern.

11

Fair Review

A report is an allegation or concern and should not automatically be treated as proof that misconduct has occurred.

Where appropriate, DayByDeals may consider information from relevant parties before deciding what marketplace, operational or other action is justified.

12

Protection From Retaliation

DayByDeals does not support retaliation against a person merely because they raise a genuine concern in good faith through this process.

A person who believes they have experienced retaliation connected with a good-faith report should raise that concern with DayByDeals.

This statement does not prevent appropriate action concerning deliberately false reports, misconduct or other matters unrelated to the act of raising a genuine concern.

13

False or Malicious Reports

Reports should be made honestly and in good faith. A person does not need to prove their concern before reporting it, but should not knowingly provide false or fabricated information.

Deliberately false, malicious or abusive reports may themselves constitute misuse of DayByDeals processes.

14

Urgent or Immediate Matters

The DayByDeals Speak Up Process is not an emergency-response service.

Where there is an immediate threat to life, physical safety or another emergency requiring urgent intervention, the appropriate emergency service or competent authority should be contacted directly.

Suspected criminal conduct may also be reported to the appropriate law-enforcement authority where appropriate.

15

Privacy & Personal Information

Personal information submitted through the Speak Up Process may be processed for purposes such as receiving and reviewing reports, investigating concerns, communicating with relevant persons, maintaining appropriate records and complying with applicable requirements.

Reporters should avoid submitting unrelated or excessive personal information.

For more information about how DayByDeals handles personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
