About DayByDeals

DayByDeals is an online marketplace operated by Day By Deals (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/601015/07.

DayByDeals provides an online platform through which customers can browse and purchase eligible products offered through DayByDeals and participating marketplace sellers.

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms apply when you access or use the DayByDeals website and related services.

Additional policies may apply to particular transactions, products or marketplace activities. Those policies form part of the information governing the relevant transaction where applicable.

If any provision of these Terms conflicts with a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, the applicable law will prevail.

Marketplace Model

DayByDeals operates as an online marketplace. Products may be offered through DayByDeals and participating marketplace sellers.

Customers should review the product, seller, price, availability and delivery information presented with the applicable offer before placing an order.

Customer Accounts

Certain DayByDeals features may require a customer account.

Customers are responsible for providing reasonably accurate account information and for taking reasonable steps to protect their login credentials.

You should notify DayByDeals if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorisation.

DayByDeals may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, misuse, security concerns or unlawful activity.

Product Information

Product listings may contain descriptions, specifications, images, compatibility information, condition information and other details intended to help customers make purchasing decisions.

Customers should review the complete product information before placing an order.

Marketplace sellers are responsible for the accuracy of information they submit concerning their products and offers.

DayByDeals does not describe every marketplace product as independently authenticated or individually verified unless such verification has actually taken place.

Pricing, Promotions & Stock

Prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.

Prices, promotions and stock availability may change over time. Marketplace sellers may be responsible for setting or updating prices and stock for their applicable offers.

Customers should review the product price, quantity, applicable delivery charges and final order total presented during checkout.

Where a material pricing, stock or listing error occurs, the affected information may be corrected and any affected order will be addressed in accordance with applicable law and DayByDeals policies.

Orders

Customers are responsible for reviewing their order information before submitting an order, including the selected products, quantities, delivery information and total amount.

Submission of an order does not necessarily mean that fulfilment has been completed or that the product has been dispatched.

An order may require payment confirmation, stock confirmation, seller processing or other reasonable fulfilment steps.

Customers should retain their order confirmation and order number for reference.

Payments

Customers must use the payment methods made available during the applicable checkout process.

Available payment methods may include Visa, Mastercard and EFT where displayed at checkout.

Orders may remain pending until payment has been successfully confirmed.

Customers should never provide passwords, banking PINs or one-time passwords (OTPs) through ordinary customer-support communications.

Delivery

• Delivery — estimated 2–3 working days for all orders, including qualifying free-delivery orders.
• Orders below R5,000 — R199 delivery per order.
• Orders of R5,000 or more — FREE delivery.
• The same delivery rates apply to all products and participating marketplace sellers, including large items. No additional bulky-item surcharge applies.
• Delivery is charged once per order, including orders containing products from different sellers. Products may arrive in separate parcels.
• Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays.
• Delivery estimates are subject to payment confirmation, stock availability, order processing and courier availability. Remote or outlying areas may take longer.
• Review the delivery charge and applicable estimate at checkout before placing your order.

Order Cancellations

Customers wishing to cancel an order should contact DayByDeals as soon as reasonably possible.

Whether an order can be cancelled may depend on its processing and dispatch status.

If an order has already entered fulfilment or been dispatched, the applicable return process may need to be followed instead.

Returns & Refunds

Return eligibility depends on the reason for the return, product condition, applicable DayByDeals policies and rights available under applicable law.

Customers should follow the applicable return process and provide information reasonably required to identify the order and assess the request.

Once a refund has been approved, DayByDeals will process the refund within 7 days.

A bank or payment provider may require additional time before processed funds become available.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Customers should contact DayByDeals if a product arrives faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or materially inconsistent with the applicable product information.

Information or evidence reasonably relevant to the issue may be requested to assist with the assessment and resolution process.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove consumer remedies that apply under South African law.

Marketplace Sellers

Participating marketplace sellers are expected to comply with applicable DayByDeals marketplace requirements and applicable law.

Sellers remain responsible for matters relating to the products and information they submit, including applicable product descriptions, pricing, stock and fulfilment responsibilities.

Where necessary to support a customer transaction, DayByDeals may communicate with the relevant marketplace seller concerning an order, return, delivery, complaint or other transaction-related issue.

Acceptable Use

Users must not misuse DayByDeals or use the website or marketplace for unlawful or unauthorised purposes.

Prohibited conduct includes attempting to:

• Provide deliberately false or misleading information.
• Conduct fraudulent or unauthorised transactions.
• Gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or information.
• Introduce malicious software or interfere with website functionality.
• Circumvent security, transaction or marketplace controls.
• Infringe intellectual-property rights.
• Use DayByDeals for activity prohibited by applicable law.

Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, graphics, text, software, design elements and other material may be protected by copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights belonging to DayByDeals, marketplace sellers, brands, manufacturers or other rights holders.

Users must not reproduce, misuse or commercially exploit protected material without the necessary permission or lawful basis.

Intellectual-property concerns relating to marketplace listings can be submitted through our Intellectual Property Complaint process.

Privacy & Personal Information

Personal information processed through DayByDeals is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

Information reasonably necessary for an order may be processed or shared with relevant service providers or marketplace sellers where required to administer the applicable transaction.

Website Availability

DayByDeals may perform maintenance, updates, security work or other technical changes that affect website availability or functionality.

Website features may also be affected by internet services, hosting infrastructure, payment services, third-party systems or other circumstances outside the direct control of DayByDeals.

DayByDeals does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every website feature at all times.

Liability & Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, waive or restrict any liability, consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, waived or restricted.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, responsibility for a particular issue will be assessed having regard to the circumstances of the transaction, the role of the relevant parties and the applicable legal requirements.

These Terms should not be interpreted as requiring a customer to waive rights provided by applicable South African consumer law.

Complaints & Dispute Resolution

Customers can contact DayByDeals concerning problems with a product, seller, order, payment, delivery, return or refund.

DayByDeals may request relevant order information or supporting information to investigate and address the complaint.

Changes to These Terms

DayByDeals may update these Terms where reasonably necessary to reflect changes to the website, marketplace operations, policies, services or applicable requirements.

The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

Changes will apply subject to applicable law and will not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by applicable South African law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent a customer from exercising any right or remedy available under applicable consumer or other legislation.
